The Green Residence Hall project involved the comprehensive renovation of a 1969-era ten-story, 83,000 square feet high-rise residence hall, ensuring compliance with modern code requirements. Completed in a single-phase spanning 14 months, the renovations encompassed resident rooms, hallways, and the strategic relocation of laundry facilities. To meet ADA code standards, the project included the replacement and widening of all resident unit entry doors, along with a complete overhaul and modernization of bathrooms, integrating ADA showers, trench drains, and compliant sink/countertops. Life safety upgrades featured the removal of hazardous materials, installation of an addressable voice evacuation fire alarm system, elevator modernization with integrated security cameras, and enhancements to the emergency power system and lighting./wp-content/uploads/2023/05/blum-construction-1200x675-1.png1200675
